Horse Racing Betting
Step by Step Instructions for Being a The Racing Site Bookie.
This guide will explain in detail how our service works and how to place your bets on Betfair. If followed correctly this guide will show you how easy it is to make money as a The Racing Site Bookie.
1. If you haven’t done so already set up an account with Betfair. Go to our website www.bettingexchangebookie.co.uk/betfair.php and follow the instructions there to get your FREE £20 bet when you open an account.
2. Determine what your starting bank and bets will be. To do this you can look at our staking plan which is available at www.bettingexchangebookie.co.uk/servicestakingplan.php. If you have a £150 starting bank your standard bets are £10. If it’s £1500 they are £100.
2. Each day between 07.00 and 12.00 we will email you the days selected horses for you to lay to lose their races on Betfair. When you get the email the selections will look something like this:
2.30 Leicester Cantabria 1.65
2.45 Hamilton Come Out Fighting 1.40
2.50 Tralee Alexandrova 1.87
3.50 Tralee Briolette 2.20
This gives you the time, racecourse, horses name and the recommended odds to place your bets at for the selected horses. These odds are a guide only and some members stick to our odds while some go slightly over if necessary. Never bet over 3.00 on Betfair.
3. Go to Betfair and get the first bet of the day on. The odds stated are only a guide and you should never go higher than the stated odds. Always try to get odds lower than we say if they are available. Prices do vary before the off so use the stated ones in the email as a guide but you should get better.
IMPORTANT: If a horse is over odds of 3.00 (2/1) when you come to place a bet DO NOT BET.
4. Once the first race is over you will know whether to place a standard bet or a top-up bet on the next horse depending on the outcome of the first. Place this bet at whatever the odds are when you look at Betfair and wait for the next result.
5. Repeat for all the bets that day and it’s really as simple as that.
